The following are common bowel problems that plague millions of people world-wide. These conditions can be significantly improved with a thorough colon cleansing, be it a natural colon cleansing method or one of the popular colon cleansing products available.

Constipation: Constipation refers to the difficulty or infrequency in passing stools. Constipation can undermine the health of the whole body, affecting digestion, preventing a clearing of toxins, lowering energy levels, and hindering efficient absorption of nutrients.

Poor diet is a major contributor to constipation, as is poor liver function, parasites, and low thyroid function, along with nutrient deficiencies such as magnesium and vitamin C. Food allergies and sensitivities can also be contributing factors. Too many dairy and refined grains can be quite constipating. And stress has an adverse effect, as expected.

The treatment of constipation includes adequate fiber, plenty of water, sufficient vitamin C and magnesium, improvement in thyroid health, exercise, and parasite cleansing, along with colon and liver cleansing. When you cleanse the intestinal tract, constipation is usually alleviated and weight loss becomes easier. Drinking fresh vegetable juices can also be very helpful, since they supply a good source of soluble fiber, which is conducive to a effective cleansing of your colon.

Colon Cancer: Colon cancer, or colorectal cancer, involves cancerous growths in the colon, rectum, or appendix. More people die each year from colorectal cancer than from breast cancer and AIDS combined. After lung cancer, it is the leading cause of death from cancer in both men and women. It's the third most diagnosed cancer in the United States and Canada (excluding skin cancer). Only lung and breast cancer in women, and lung and prostate cancer in men are diagnosed more frequently.

Studies show that a diet high in red meat and low in vegetables, fruit, and other high-fiber foods contributes to an increased risk of colon cancer. The best preventive program is one that includes reducing clogging foods, eating more cleansing foods, drinking more water, exercising, and completing periodic colon cleansing, along with periodic preventive testing for those at high risk or over fifty.

Diverticulosis or Diverticular Disease: The latest statistics reveal that the number of Americans who suffer from diverticulosis is increasing. They National Institue of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases reported that 10 percent of American over forty have diverticulosis. By age sixty the figure jumps to 50 percent. The good news is that proper care of the colon can prevent this condition or keep it from developing into the more serious form known as diverticulitis.

Diverticulosis is a condition that results when small pouches called diverticula form in the colon. These pouches bulge outward through weak spots in the colon wall. If they become infected, the condition is called diverticulitis. Diverticular disease is believed to be caused principally by a low-fiber diet that leads to constpiation. The resulting pressure on the colon wall causes a diverticula to form.

Remember, all of these common problems can be prevented with regular cleaning of the colon. If you're looking to lose weight or improve your health in general, considering cleaning out your colon. Colon cleansing is one of the most important and usually most overlooked steps when it comes to reshaping the body, improving digestion, losing weight, and restoring overall health.
